PMDG 737NGX Released
Launch Video, from Angle of Attack:
The Definitive Simulation of the World's Definitive Airliner
PMDG is proud to offer the next level of airliner flight simulation with the release of the PMDG 737NGX 800/900 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X!
The PMDG 737NGX features an unprecedented level of systems fidelity. Developed over three years with technical input from Boeing and a team of real-life 737NG crew and maintenance advisors, we have painstakingly modeled nearly every system on the real aircraft in a fully dynamic and realistic manner.
Raise the wing spoilers and watch as the virtual hydraulic fluid moves through the system and causes the pressure and quantity to change in real time. Turn on something as small as a single exterior light and watch as the electrical load indication changes to reflect the increased power draw. The PMDG 737NGX is a living, breathing machine.
Price: $69.99, more information here, and a big thanks to Robert Randazzo for joining us for a surprise visit!

Orbx Presents NatureFlow
Debuting at 1WA6 Fall City airfield in August 2011, NatureFlow extends FSX to add a whole new level of realism to airports. Imagine the grass slowly moving in the breeze as you taxi to your hangar. Birds whistle, dogs bark, trees way, and in the fall, the leaves gently float down to the ground.
Imagine no more; this is FSX at a whole new level of immersion. And yours to experience at the end of August 2011.
McPhat Studios working on X-Plane ATR-72-500
As most of you know, the past couple of months, we've been working on a project for Coolsky, to be published by Flight1 ; The DC-9 series 30. Responsible for not only the textures this time, but also the 3D model (inside and out), we've seen a slight shift in tasks, team members and goals for McPhat Studios and this shift is only about to become larger.
After a couple of years up to our ears in Photoshop, the next logical step was to take it a step further and with Alfredo and Juan, our new Boy Wonders, we're doing just that!(I call all our 3D Artists Boy Wonders, probably has to do with them being able to do something I can't)
Our first in-house development, is a plane well known, you can call it a commuter, a regional prop, you can label it all you want, but we call it :
The ATR-72-500, but wait..... it's not going to be released for FSX, no : It's an X-Plane development! I don't make a habit of showing work in progress renders, but I did not want to withhold these from you, so here goes...
